We have an 11 bay part-covered Driving Range, Practice Nets, Short Game Area and two Putting Greens where you can brush off the rustiness from your journey or fine tune your swing before you step onto the course. It’s also an ideal place to work on your game, you are welcome to come and use the driving range even if you’re not playing on the course.
Our covered bays give protection in all types of weather with targets at different distances and a number of target greens. Our short game area will give you opportunity to work on many aspects of your wedge game, whether its perfecting the trademark Phil Mickelson flop shot or the Scottish pitch and run – all shots that you could potentially face on the course – there are also two practice bunkers. To finish off, the short game area has a practice putting green and there’s another putting green just by the 10th tee.
Ogbourne Downs Golf Club offers an extensive fleet of two-seater electric buggies to complement your game of golf. If you prefer to walk, we can offer hire trollies (both battery operated and push trollies), the choice is yours or if you’re in the area and don’t have your golf bag with you, we also offer golf club hire.

Ogbourne Downs Golf Club offers a professional shop for all of your golfing and refreshment needs. When you arrive at the club, please check in at the shop where you will find coffee and breakfast foods to help sustain you if you’re heading straight out onto the course along with drinks to take with you.
Our stock which includes both men’s and women’s clothing and footwear, has the key golf essentials such as golf balls, tees, markers and gloves.
The shop also sells a range of golf equipment including; drivers, irons, wedges and putters, golf shoes, golf clothing – shirts, sweaters, trousers, caps, golf gloves, golf umbrellas and golf trollies
